"To live on the Beara Peninsula is to enjoy the freedom of a vast, three-dimensional space, to immerse yourself in light and water. Mountains or islands floating in a swelling Atlantic, vast, mysterious, ebbing, whose depths are unimaginable and powerful. To capture something of this, to interpret this elusive light or to give form to these monumental skies is to apply the language of color and mix reality with the eye of the beholder.
